Sterling Legal - When Nothing but the Best will do!

Sterling Legal (formerly Queen Street Chambers)

Sterling Legal was established on 18 September 2002, under the name of Queen Street Chambers. The trading name was changed in 2011.

The firm was created as a practice with the belief that affordable, top quality, responsive, and ethical legal services are paramount considerations.

Sterling Legal provides services to a large number of individuals, businesses, corporations and community groups. In fact, they recently opened file #25384!

The Office of the Protective Commissioner (“OPC”) (Attorney Generals Department) has recognised their skills and expertise by recommending them as one of their supplementary providers.

Quality

In 2010, Sterling Legal (albeit under its former name) was one of the first legal firms in Australia to achieve ISO9001 quality endorsement for both Company and Legal Practice. The vetting process by Standards Australia is incredibly vigorous but given our insistence on innovation and systemised operations, Sterling Legal was able to surpass the standards and achieve the required certification.

Sterling Legal® - a Brand of Excellence

Sterling Legal has a track record which speaks volumes of the success they have achieved, particularly in complex cases and against apparently more sophisticated opponents.

Some put this to the firms depth of experience, level of skill and continued training.

Sterling Legal puts it to their tenaciousness, the culture but more importantly, its commitment to excellence.

Everyone at Sterling Legal is committed to these ideals and particularly to a brand that is an A-grade legal services provider.

Technology

Sterling Legal invests in the latest technology and legal resources to guarantee cutting edge, high quality service delivery that meets and exceeds their client’s expectations.

Research and Development

Sterling Legal has a focus on innovation, research and continuing legal education. All staff (whether lawyers or not) must complete at minimum 20 CLE units per year instead of the law society required 10 units. Also, the majority of staff are undergoing further education. The net effect is that this produces an environment and culture of excellence and it is this excellence that makes Sterling Legal the right choice to serve your legal needs.

Insurance

Sterling Legal has adequate professional indemnity insurance cover but the policy can be upgraded as and when required.

Community

The staff at Sterling Legal are extensively involved in the local area and continually contribute to the community and independent organisations, sporting groups and institutions.

The Managing Partner is the Chairman/Co-founder of AusRelief and is a sitting Councillor on Cumberland Council
