Ehab obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from Macquarie University in 2022. Following this, he attained his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in September 2022.
Ehab joined Sterling Legal as a solicitor in early 2024 following his previous experience as both solicitor and intern in his previous roles, working substantively in the area of Family Law.
Ehab has a great passion for Family Law and thrives on helping families come to amicable resolutions to their Family Law issues through dispute resolution. He has worked across a number of financial and parenting proceedings including matters involving serious and complex family violence and relocation.
Ehab is very personable with his clients, ensuring they feel heard, and safe at all times during the Family Law pathway, and helping clients understand the law and the court process along the way. With an aim to protect his clients’ interests, he takes a keen approach to all matters whilst balancing clients’ needs and capacity.
Ehab’s areas of expertise in Family Law includes the following:
- Facilitating dispute resolution conferences;
- Divorce applications;
- Financial settlement of the matrimonial asset pool after separation;
- Parenting matters, including negotiating arrangements, drafting parenting plans and consent orders, and seeking parenting orders proceedings;
- Matters requiring the airport watchlist and a risk of child abduction;
- Family violence, abuse, and unacceptable risk towards a child including financial abuse, emotional and verbal abuse, sexual abuse, and physical abuse;
- Matters involving interstate and international relocation.
